Finally a Cure for two left feet!!! Thats right you've said it before "I have two left feet"..... So it's time to make an appointment with the doctor and remove that dreaded second left foot that's kept you off the dance floor all these years. With over thirty years experience Steve Gallagher ,West Virginia's very own "Dance Doctor", has developed a painless and pleasurable procedure which leaves his "patients" with " HAPPY FEET !!" . "Patients" are able to, within a few short hours of private and/or class instruction, dance their way into an exciting new world . A world where "Dancing with the stars" becomes a reality and where Fred and Ginger are King and Queen. So whether you want to step back in time and experience the classic romance of the Foxtrot or the Waltz OR step through time and feel the heat of Salsa or Argentine tango now is the time to let Steve Gallagher and his lovely wife Cynthia, teach you the timeless art of Dance. |

| Dancing has many benefits: Trying to keep the weight off? Trim down? Try one hour, thats right just one hour of moderate ballroom dancing and burn 250-300 calories - twice as much as walking a treadmill, or riding a cycling machine, and avoid feeling like a gerbil on an exercise wheel. An hour of vigorous dancing - the Jitterbug or Salsa - can burn up to 400 calories. Ballroom dancing is a low-impact sport that tightens up and strengthens the calves, thighs, and thats right the old gluteus maximus! (Le Butt). Besides, ballroom dance can improve your overall physical condition, the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute gives ballroom dancing as a way to lower the risk of heart disease, a big thumbs up! And you know how serious those guys are! Control blood pressure, reduce weight, and boost HDL cholesterol levels, check, check and double check. Dance can also reduce back pain, slow age-related muscle loss, and, since it is weight-bearing exercise, help to build and maintain strong bones. There are big differences between ballroom dance and traditional aerobic exercise. For one, aerobic routines and patterns are repetitious (the old gerbil on a wheel syndrome) and can lead to overuse of one set of muscles. But in ballroom dance, you create your own direction of movement through a wide variety of steps and patterns as the music and mood change. Since part of the challenge and creative fun of Argentine Tango, Jive or Salsa is change and diversity, the risk of overuse injury is low. As well as the risk of boredom, which means you stay motivated and committed. Facts kept simple:
